Querrey dropped his serve to reach 3-5 after a doublefault followed by a Russell down the line backhand winner.

Russell was unable to hold on to the momentum however as he lost his serve after making three unforced errors.

At 4-5 Querrey held serve then broke Russell's serve to reach 6-5.

In his final service game Querrey lost only one point as he'd cut his unforced errors drastically from set one. Querrey reached 30-0 after an ace down the tee and a forehand down the line winner.

Two forceful serves which Russell were unable to put in play ended the match after one hour and fifty minutes.

At 6 feet, 6 inches and 200 pounds, 20 year old Querrey has been touted as one of Americas next great players.
