SHANGHAI/DOHA--(lawntennismag.com) The 2008 professional tennis tours both end in 8 player round robin format championship tournaments. But only the top players will qualify to compete for the two singles titles. The WTA Tour's Sony Ericsson Championships is scheduled to be played the week of November 3rd at Doha, Qatar. One week later the ATP Tour's Tennis Masters Cup Shanghai will take place at Shanghai, China. And while many of the top 8 spots are already secured, a few chances are still available for the top players to qualify in the next few weeks of tournament competition.
