Venus Williams, Madison Keys Set Up Australia Day Fireworks MELBOURNE--Monday (Sunday afternoon PST USA) is Australia Day in Melbourne, but expect fireworks on the tennis courts as well today at the Australian Open as two of the hardest hitters ever in women's tennis; the Americans Venus Williams and Madison Keys take to the courts to compete in the fourth round.

In the third round Saturday, the 18th seeded Williams overcame a slow start to defeat the unseeded but dangerous heavy hitter Camila Giorgi of Italy 4-6, 7-6(7-3), 6-1.

Expect fireworks on the tennis courts as well today at the Australian Open as two of the hardest hitters ever in women's tennis; the Americans Venus Williams and Madison Keys compete in the fourth round.

And with her supercoach Lindsay Davenport of the USA looking on Saturday, the 19 year old Keys stunned the Wimbledon champion and 4th seeded Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic 6-4, 7-5 in the third round.

Williams takes on the 6th seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland at 7:00 PM Melbourne time (12:00AM PST USA) in a much anticipated match that could be interrupted by nearby Australia Day fireworks exploding overhead.

The 34 year old Williams won three games in a row to come back from a 4-6, 3-5 deficit against Giorgi with powerful groundstrokes and serves.

Radwanska can mix placement and touch to keep the ball in play longer to draw more errors from Williams today however. But I think Williams will have a good day and hit more winners than errors and have a fast start for a three set upset win.

Madison Keys faces her fellow American and namesake Madison Brengle at an estimated 4:30 PM Melbourne time (10:30 PM PST USA).

Keys has improved her movement and consistency from 2014 to 2015 and should overpower Brengle from the baseline for a straight sets win.
