Serena Williams Loses In Roland Garros Round Four Paris-- Sunday at Roland Garros in Paris, France, the seventh seeded Serena Williams of the USA showed some of her powerful tennis but it was not enough as she fell 6-3, 7-5 to the 21st seeded Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.

The 39 year old Williams committed several baseline errors to open the match while her 21 year old opponent ripped winners from the baseline to lead 4-1 in set one.

Serving for the match, the six feet tall Rybakina struck a 112 miles per hour ace down the tee to reach 15 all.

The Kazakhstani held serve to pull even at five games all.

With Williams serving, Rybakina struck a down the line forehand return winner to lead 0-15.

Williams then netted a crosscourt forehand while on the run which she followed up with her only double fault of the match to trail 0-40.

The American netted a crosscourt backhand to drop serve and trail 5-6.

Serving for the match, Rybakina struck a 112 miles per hour ace down the tee to reach 15 all.

Williams then struck two groudstrokes long to trail 40-15 and face two match points.

Williams would send a final backhand down the line return long to end the match.
