LONDON, England (lawntennismag.com)—The second Tuesday of Wimbledon is ladies' quarterfinals day with all four ladies' quarterfinals being played while the men have the day off.

And while both Williams sisters are heavy favorites to reach Saturday's ladies' final, Venus and Serena Williams of the USA must still deliver the tennis to win.

Defending champion Venus Williams of the USA is three matches away from her 5th Wimbledon singles title.

Elena Dementieva (RUS)[5] v. Nadia Petrova (RUS)[21]
Petrova has the much better serve of the two ladies, but Elena's groundstokes are more consistent and mentally Elena is the better player.
Winner: Dementieva

Agnieszka Radwanska (POL)[14] v. Serena Williams (USA)[6]
Williams beat Radwanska's younger sister last week. She could have a tougher time with Agnieszka today who has more experience, but I expect the same result.
Winner: Williams

Venus Williams (USA)[7] v. Tamarine Tanasugarn (THA)
Defending champion Venus Williams of the USA is three matches away from her 5th Wimbledon singles title. Williams has never lost a set to Tanasugarn and Venus is playing some of her best tennis on her favorite surface.
Winner: Williams

Jie Zheng (CHN) v. Nicole Vaidisova (CZE)[18]
Vaidisova has been in a slump the last year or so, but on this fast surface her power game could come together enough to outhit Zheng.
Winner: Vaidisova
